Emily Moses was a keen letter writer, and a lot of her correspondence survives. During the period 1885 to 1887 her friend Charlotte East was at Girton College, Cambridge, and it is during this time that Emily shared some of her new found knowledge about the Wiltshire Snare. The letters are charming, and also give a window into contemporary life for young women of the Victorian era.
